What does 600D mean on a backpack?
The D stands for denier, a measure of yarn thickness. 600D polyester is the standard fabric for daypacks, tough enough for daily carry without being stiff, and Get Custom Backpacks builds its logo backpacks on 600D polyester or recycled rPET. Which backpack is best for a school or youth programme?

Are rolltop backpacks really waterproof?
It depends on the build. The welded tarpaulin rolltop from Get Custom Backpacks is waterproof when the top is rolled three times and clipped, while the coated ripstop version with taped seams is highly water resistant but will eventually wet out in sustained rain.
